AERTiCKET AG's shareholders
- AER Reisebüro Kooperation Verwaltungs GmbH (in short: AER Verwaltungs GmbH) has a 20.7% stake in AERTiCKET AG. It is the economic branch of AER Kooperation (AER e.V.), which in turn is a cooperation of more than 750 travel agencies.
- ATR GmbH, a medium-sized travel agency in Berlin with ten branches in the municipal area, holds a 7.79 percent share in AERTiCKET AG.
- STA Travel GmbH, specializing in youth and student travel, is a 20.7 percent shareholder.
- Otto Freizeit und Touristik GmbH also has a 20.7 percent stake.
- AERTiCKET AG Board of Directors holds 9.41 percent of the shares.
At the end of 2008, Raiffeisen-Volksbank Altötting-Mühldorf eG, with whom AERTiCKET AG has enjoyed a long and close business relationship, was admitted as a new shareholder with a 20.7 percent stake in the company. It is this involvement of Raiffeisen-Volksbank that underlines the sound economic and financial situation of AERTiCKET AG, especially these days.
Travel agencies, chains and Internet portals are competitors. However, as shareholders in
AERTiCKET AG they are united by a common interest in a well-positioned consolidator and the attractive service range, excellent price-performance ratio and competent service it can provide.
The balanced distribution of shares precludes the dominance of any single provider and/or shareholder, which is vital for ensuring AERTiCKET AG’s independence. By joining AER e.V. as a member, each travel agency also has the opportunity to indirectly become a co-partner of AERTiCKET AG.
With professional structures set in place, AERTiCKET AG acts successfully on the market and does so in the best interest of its shareholders and staff.
