Training at AERTiCKET AG

Only if all employees are highly motivated and equipped with the latest available knowledge
AERTiCKET AG will be in the position to assert itself as Germany’s biggest independent flight
ticket wholesaler.
Training of future travel agents is therefore very important to us.
We offer training as travel agent, in the field of tourism and transportation
regularly at our head office in Berlin and our branch office in Frankfurt.
Applicants should have a good secondary school graduation or even a high school graduation.
Interest in and knowledge of geography and foreign languages are required in the area of tourism
and travel. Since training will be one of commercial facts as well a good command for figures is
necessary apart from that applicants should be fluent in the German language in oral and in written
form. Knowledge of computer use, internet and Windows are of advantage.
Duration of training is altogether three years. During that time the trainees will
get to know all areas of the company. As for example:
- Fare department
- Department for group travel
- Purchase department
- Ticketing
- Call Center
- Department for online booking
- Accounting / Administration
Working and being trained at a flight ticket wholesaler is in many aspects different
from being a trainee at a ’classical’ travel agency. Direct contact to customers and helpdesk tasks
are rare and the classical package holiday is not being sold through us. Our employees work in a
open-plan-office at computers using different reservation systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo,
Worldspan), the world wide web,
e-mails and our company’s data bases.
When working in the call center a friendly telephone voice is of advantage and the willingness
to work outside of the usual business hours is expected since our trainees will have to work on
Sundays and holidays in some of our departments.
Regular internal instructions, courses and workshops in all fields that are relevant to your
training are self evident and obligatory for all trainees.
By systematic training in up to date and trade specific information technologies as well as by
relaying commercial knowledge the necessary foundation is laid for you to become a self-dependently
acting employee in one of the departments of our company.
Training starts:
- at 01. February (only in Berlin) and 01. August each year respectively
Closing date for applications:
- until 30. September to start training in February
- until 31. March to start training in August
