AER Reisebüro Kooperation is a company alliance and economic association of independent travel agencies and exclusively bound to its members' interests:

The short form "AER" stands for "Arbeitsgemeinschaft Europäischer Reiseunternehmen" ("Work group of European travel agencies"). It was founded in 1987 to represent the interests of self-reliant travel agencies under the legal form of "eingetragener Verein" (''membership corporation").

While other sales organisations are the property of tourism companies, banks or private persons, exclusively the 770 travel agency members are the owners of the AER Kooperation.
